Registration & Camp Details

Welcome to TCC Summer Camp.

Please be sure to read through all information listed here and on the Parent Operating Handbook. There are a few changes to the order of operation and we want to make sure you don’t miss a thing!

Week 1: Cactuses & Cowpoke

  • Cactuses, lizards, scorpions...jackalopes? It's a whole other world out there. Pack your saddlebags with grub and don't forget your cowboy hat!

Week 2: Snaggletooth Dragonfish (STC)

  • You've heard of an anglerfish, you've heard of a giant squid...but have you heard of the snaggletooth dragonfish? There's more to find in the deep dark sea.

Week 3: Summit Seekers 3.0

  • Lace up your hiking boots for TCC's 3rd year of hiking week! There is plenty to explore along the trails of the Upper Valley. We will tackle a several-mile hike each day...expect elevation, hard work, and endless discoveries!

Week 4: Plantastic

  • This is the season for life and lushness, and the plants around us are bursting with curiosities. And of course, tending the TCC garden is a summertime mainstay!

Week 5: Wings & Things

  • Birding is delightfully satisfying; don't knock it 'til you've tried it! You really can't go wrong with feathers...from finches to flamingos, do you have a favorite?

Week 6: Intergalactic Road trip

  • Imagine a cozy RV but it's a spaceship traveling at warp speed to another galaxy. Where is your favorite intergalactic pit-stop? Just wait 'til you see the roadside attractions along the way.

Week 7: Unusual Sports

  • From slightly uncommon to truly wacky games humans play. Speed walking...rock climbing...swamp football.. have you heard of the Cooper's Hill Cheese Rolling Event?! But don't worry, we won't be rolling like them. The cheese though? Come find out!

Week 8: On a Roll

  • Inspired by our favorite games and taken up a notch, or several! Haven’t you always wanted to actually run along the path of a game board? Or play “Go Fish” but you’re moving your body and there's real (pretend) fishing?

Week 9: Moonstruck

  • Our solar system houses 891 moons and counting! Icy, Watery Ganymede, volcanic lo, backwards Triton, lumpy Phobos...what will we discover next?

Week 1: Mt. Tom Hike

Week 2: TBD

Week 3: Hiking each day & a NPS Trail maintenance day

Week 4: Ferndean Farm

Week 5: VINS

Week 6: Movie Theater

Week 7: Green Mountain Rock Climbing

Week 8: Cedar Circle Farm

Week 9: Vail Field Walk

  • Program: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Late Care: 4:00pm – 5:00pm

  • You WILL need a packed lunch.
  • Snack provided once mid morning & afternoon.

A camp T-Shirt is mandatory for field trip days. It is a safety measure when we travel for our staff and for the staff at the visiting location. Old Camp T-Shirts cannot be used as they change annually.

Cancellation Policy

TCC requires 30-days notice if you wish to withdraw your child from programming that you have already registered for. Any cancellation within 30 days is still subject to full payment for the registered days. Contact the Program Director if you wish to withdraw from programming.
